What are your opening hours?

Both Henry Smith’s and Andrew Firth’s open 09:00-17:00 Monday- Saturday. We do not open Sundays or Bank Holidays. Henry Smith’s is open all year round, but we do take a small break over the Christmas period at Andrew Firth’s.

When’s the best time to come in and buy my school uniform?

We generally keep a good stock of school uniform in-store throughout the year. Stock levels do vary at busy periods so we would always recommend coming down as soon as possible to ensure that you get the size you want, and if not then you have time to order!

What happens if I need to order a non-stock item (i.e. a size/colour/product that is not normally carried in stock)?

If you require a product that is not normally held in stock, we shall endeavour to order this product in for you. As such, in accordance with our Refund and Exchange Policy, when placing a special order in-store you should ensure that this item is definitely what you want as special orders are sold as non-refundable.

I can’t find the product I am looking for on your website?

In-store we currently sell a vast amount of products and we are trying our best to get as much of this onto our website. If you are looking for something specific, but can’t find it on our website, then please give us a ring or send us a message (see the Contact Us page for details). It may be that this is a product that we carry in stock but isn’t online yet, or something that we can source for you.

What do I do if my item is faulty?

In accordance with our Refund and Exchange Policy, faulty goods returned in-store will only be accepted upon production of proof of purchase. We will then try our best to replace the product.

How can I get a quote for embroidered/printed goods (school uniform or work wear enquiries)?

We currently provide many schools and businesses with embroidered and printed goods. The price of such items often varies depending on the type of product and the type of branding required. The easiest thing to do would probably be to pop into the stores and have a chat with one of our sales assistants, or send us an enquiry via the form on the Contact Us page.
